As we have reading Little Red Riding Hood this week, Nursery has the chance to make some cupcakes as we were inspired by the cakes she took to make her Grandma feel better. As a class, we talked about what our cupcakes would taste like, which generated a long discussion on the flavours and decorations we would have for our cupcakes. Two of the children even used the words ‘yummy’ and ‘delicious’ to describe the cupcakes.
The children were then very excited to decorate their cupcakes! They each decided whether they wanted vanilla or chocolate icing. Chocolate icing was the definite favourite! They used marshmallows, silver and gold chocolate balls and rainbow sprinkles. Here are some pictures of them decorating their cupcakes!
