In order to enable effective teaching and learning to take place, positive engagement and behaviour in all aspects of school life is necessary.

The School Day

Due to restrictions put in place due to Covid, we have altered the school day so that we can put in place measures to ensure the safety of all.

School Uniform

The Governing Body believes that it is important for pupils to wear a smart uniform as this contributes to a sense of belonging and fosters a sense of pride in the School.

School Meals

The vast majority of our children have a school dinner. It is very important to us that the school dinners served here meet the very important quality and nutritional requirements set out by the government and, more importantly, our children and parents.

Online Safety

This page will set out the key principles expected of all members of the school community at St Scholastica’s Primary School with respect to the use of ICT-based technologies.

Friends of St. Scholastica's

We are a group of parents who raise money to pay for trips and activities for the children of the school.

Home School Agreement

We have a mission to educate our children in the spirit of the Gospel of Christ. Therefore we seek to: to help each person develop a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. Reflecting the Gospel values, we wish to uphold the worth and value of each individual.

Secondary Transfer

Applications for secondary schools are made in the first half of the autumn term of the year in which a child is in Year 6. The majority of secondary schools hold their open days in late September and early October.

RSE Consultation

From September 2020, it is a statutory requirement that all schools in England and Wales are teaching Relationship and Sex Education as a fundamental part of the curriculum. Please see below for information on how you can be involved in the consultation process.
