Over the past 5 weeks, Nursery have been very busy with their topic ‘Once Upon a Time’, where they were introduced to lots of different stories, with some old time favourites and some new stories that the children loved.
The children have been really engaged in their learning this half term and they are currently enjoying Read Write Inc which we have introduced into our day. They are eager to learn their sounds and show a huge interest in practising their sound formation, both inside and outside the Nursery classroom.
After a full on 5 weeks of superstar learning and amazing effort in all areas in Nursery, the children ended the topic off with a dress up day, where the children cane dressed as Princesses, Princes, Kings, Queens and Superheroes!
Sadly, we have had to say goodbye to one of the adults in the Nursery team, as Miss Morwenna goes off on her new journey where she will train to become a teacher. We wish her all the very best and hope she comes back to visit us soon!
